Family Walk 2020

  • Sunday, November 29, 2020
  • 11:30 AM - 2:30 PM
  • Clearwater Bay

Registration is closed

Join us for a relaxed, socially distanced, walk in the Clearwater Bay country park with an option to picnic at the Kite Flying Site. It will be an easy, scenic walk suitable for all ages as well as pushchair friendly!

This event is free to join and open to all AFHK members. Registration is required.

Come along to connect with old and new friends in the adoption and fostering community!

Where we will be meeting: The meeting point will be at the Roundabout where Tai Au Mun and Clearwater Bay Roads meet. We will be meeting from 11.15am and there is a public toilet at this site. From 11.30am we will begin the walk towards the Lobster Bay Kite Flying Site (this takes around 45 mins). You are welcome to bring your own picnic to enjoy at this scenic spot, and/or walk back at your own pace.

Map and pictures: Click here for detailed directions and here for a Google Map link.

How to get there: Though there is a small car park at the meeting point there are unlikely to be spaces at this time on a Sunday. We strongly recommend you instead take a ten minute taxi journey from Hang Hau MTR station or the 103M minibus from Tseung Kwan O MTR. If you would like to park at Hang Hau there is a large car park at East Point City mall.

Donations are very welcome: This is a free event however if you can consider making a small donation to AFHK to help us continue our mission to support the adoption and fostering community in Hong Kong it would be very well received. Due to our inability to run our usual event programs we are currently only at half of our annual fundraising goal this year. You can donate here

Cancellation: In the unfortunate event of unsuitable weather, the event will be cancelled. In this case you will be notified by email by 10 am on the day or earlier. A message will also be posted on the AFHK website Event page.
