Foster Parent Support Group

If you are unable to attend the meeting in person, please note we offer a virtual meeting option. Please let us know during registration that you require a virtual meeting. After registration, we will send you a link to enable you to join our meeting remotely.

Facilitators: This gathering will be co-faciliated by two AFHK volunteers, Lianne Lim, who is a Project Bridge foster parent and an APCPA registered counselor, and Staci England, a US-trained social worker.

Cost: This group is free of charge, but donations are welcome to help cover venue and operational costs and ensure these meetings can continue.

Regarding Children: AFHK very much supports parent-child interaction and presence and discourages excessive separations in the early stages of children joining their families. However due to the sensitive nature of discussions at times, as well as venue and staffing constraints, we are not able to provide childcare or allow children at this event.
